2025 Strategy Day

Earlier this month we gathered for our annual strategy launch day - an opportunity for the leadership team to share exciting updates, companywide targets, and upcoming developments to the entirety of our head office team with the overall aim of hitting our three-year trajectory and reaching the peak of our SMI journey to the summit!

While there are many exciting changes on the horizon this year, our aim is the same – to be The Supply Lifeline to Britain's Workforce.

As such, our focus on consistently hitting a delivery target of 98% on-time in-full alongside creating a more streamlined ordering journey for our client base is at the forefront of our strategic plan.

During the presentation given by our CEO, directors and heads of departments we highlighted the core areas pivotal to our growth whilst keeping exceptional product offering and customer service at the forefront of what we do.

However, it wasn’t all business we got the team out of their seats and working together (something we’re passionate about!) with a hi-vis driving range relay and a ‘beat the box’ activity organised by The Team Building Company… it’s safe to say we have an incredibly competitive bunch working at SMI!

These activities were designed to promote effective communication, collaboration and problem-solving – skills that are integral to our success and promote the values we live by as a company!

We are beyond excited for what’s to come in 2025 and the growth and development of our fantastic team! Stay tuned for further updates, we already have some incredible things in the pipeline.
