Buy Mops and Squeegees Online

A squeegee mop is used for removing water or other liquids from hard floors.

With a squeegee, you can push liquids towards a drain to quickly dry floors and prevent slips.

You can also use squeegee mops to remove liquids from windows, shower screens, and other smooth surfaces.

You can buy mops and squeegees from SMI, right here on our website.

Our range includes floor mops, mop heads, hygiene handles, and industrial squeegees.

You can also explore our wider range of cleaning products to keep your workplace clean from top to bottom – including brooms and brushes, buckets and trolleys, cloths and sponges, surface wipes, and accessories.

Employers are responsible for cleanliness and hygiene within the workplace.

HSE states that employers must:

• Clear up spillages promptly
• Keep internal walls or ceilings clean
• Provide containers for waste materials
• Provide clean premises, furniture, and fittings
• Remove dirt, refuse, and trade waste regularly
• Provide showers for dirty work or emergencies
• Provide clean floors and stairs, with effective drainage where necessary
• Provide clean toilets and hand basins, with running hot and cold or warm water, soap, and towels (or another suitable means of drying)

You should also carry out a risk assessment to establish whether you need to provide additional controls.

For instance:

• Skin cleansers, with nail brushes
• Barrier cream and skin-conditioning cream
• Chemical toilets for workers working away from base
